The design draws inspiration from 2 sources:
1) the literal meaning of someone who travels, particularly one who enjoys wandering and taking their time to explore the world
2) the Voyager spacecrafts. The two large star bursts are in reference to the spacecraft that have continued long beyond their intended use, escaped our solar bubble, and continue to explore beyond the reaches of any other human-made object
Both of these inspirations stress what I want Voyager to stand for: taking time to explore the small things in life, and to make well designed bags that will stand up to whatever you throw at them.
